『松本英子20周年　活動のスタートは原点のスウェーデンで！！』

　2019年6月2日でデビュー20周年を迎えるシンガー松本英子。その記念すべき節目の年に向け、彼女は着々と動き出している。
　その主軸となるのは、デビュー曲「涙のチカラ」を手掛けたスウェーデン人プロデューサー ダグラス・カーと共に再び音楽をつくるという長年の夢。今年7月、自ら遥々スウェーデンへと足を運び、彼の自宅兼スタジオで約20年ぶりのレコーディングをおこなった。

　純粋な歌い手である自分を成長させたのは20年間に出会ってきた人々と音楽であり、その出会いは自分にとって不可欠なものだったと語る松本英子。あらゆる世界観を受け入れ、その世界に自らが酔いしれることで作り手が音楽に込めた想いを自分のものとして表現する。その積み重ねが、松本英子をさまざまな表情を持った表現力豊かな実力派シンガーに成長させた。
　
　デビュー20周年を迎えるべく奔走する彼女は「第二の生まれ故郷」スウェーデンで新たなスタートラインを切った。
