Music and Peace for Cameroon Refugees

Hello and thanks for viewing my site.
I'm Yukako Yamano, a jazz pianist.

I keep wishing to do activities to make the world peaceful with music, and I play overseas in about 10 countries a year.

I went to Jordan in May this year and was able to play at schools and facilities where Palestinian refugees attend.

And this time, I'm invited by UNHCR in Cameroon to give a concert for refugees. The travel period is scheduled from September 2 (Mon) to 11 (Wed), and the concert will be September 6 (Fri).

Cameroon is the largest recipient of Central African refugees, with 241,000 internally displaced persons, as well as 88,000 Nigerian refugees fleeing from Boko Haram and 249,000 Central African refugees.

The funds collected through crowdfunding will be used for expenses and fundraising for refugees.
