Activity Report Part 5

2019-09-12

Thanks to everyone, I was able to finish my Cameroon tour and return home! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

In a concert for 200 refugees (about 300 people finally gathered!), We were able to provide food and drinks to them with the funds we received from you.

The concert is on the UNHCR Facebook page

Cameroon children were cheerful and listened to our performances.
Surprisingly, both the refugee children and the UNHCR staff had a great sense of rhythm, and suddenly dancing and singing, the venue was very exciting.

Gorgeous, technical and well studied..... It is a world where such musicians are preferred. This is a result of the era and I think it is inevitable. But,

Music = Peace

I really hope that.
"I can live now because Yukako played at that time." I will continue to practice, work hard, and do my best to make such voices increase!

Activity report Part 4 【3 days left!】

2019-08-28

There are 3 days until the end of crowdfunding and 5 days until departure.
I reaaly appriciate for your cooperation🙏✨
There are a lot of participants from jazz clubs owners and musician friends and I'm very surprised!

In Cameroon, I will play with Dominique ATSAMA (gt, vo) in 4 places (the schedule is posted on my blog).
He is very famous in Cameroon!!

This is the hardest preparing taht I have ever experienced.
Visa application, vaccination, preventive medicine, ...
I have a prepaid mobile phone for overseas,
But it's not supported in Cameroon.
Furthermore yesterday, when I went to the currency exchange office to change my local currency (CFA franc),
I was told that I had to order it.

I'm really looking forward to seeing what I can do on my first African tour.

Thank you for your continued support🙇‍♂️

Activity Report Part 3 【reached 100%!】

2019-08-13

I wonder why I go to Cameroon and why I want to save refugees....
I think it happened naturally.

I'm clumsy, but I strongly wanted to entertain and impress people through my musical activities and became a professional.

In such a situation,
A foreign tourist suddenly came to my show in Tokyo. He said, "Your performance is great and if you come to my country, I'll arrange your concert",and I replied"I really go there,is it good?” I repeated such a situation, and my scope of activities became the world.

Through such activities, I received a lot of information such as "I live abroad now" and "I want to introduce you because I have such friends overseas." In Cameroon as well, my introduced UNHCR.

At first I thought that anyone could do this. But recently I think this may be my feat. If so, let's do a tour that will please them with your help! That's why I'm doing crowdfunding.

When I played for Palestinian refugees in Jordan, people enjoyed and moved the music without any preconceptions. When I thought my music would be the power to live for tomorrow, I was really happy to come here.

This is my first time going to Africa. I didn't think that visa procedures and preparations were so cumbersome, so I'm still trying to attach it, but my first motto is "Try it first!" I believe there will definitely be a great impression this time.

Thanks to everyone, the achievement rate exceeded 100%! Thank you so much again. However, I want to deliver as much money as possible to Cameroon, aiming for a higher achievement rate.

We look forward to your cooperation!

Activity report Part 2

Hello! I finished the tour of Bangkok and Jakarta and returned safely✈️
The interesting ting about playing abroad is...
After all, there is an experience that I never would have experienced in Japan.
Of course not only good things.

About this tour, There is a very good mood,
and a wide variety of food and drinks, so it's a very nice jazz bar,,,,
But I was surprised how open the lid,
Most of the piano's treble range is sinking.
Of course there is no sound, and the unsinked key has the worst pitch.
Hey, I can't play it ,,,
I asked to the sound engineer and he said
"You have an electronic piano on your piano. Play with your right hand".
I said
"I can't play that kind of thing. Then I only need an electronic piano. Please bring a piano stand".
"I have a piano but I don't have a stand"
,,,,,,,,,
I thought I stand and play.
I always go to jazz club first on the tour for my practice,
so I tried to message members who have not arrived yet to bring the stand.
Then the members appeared with the stand. (I’m impressed!)
In this way,I was upset just before the peformance.
When I returned home, I was impressed by the wonderfulness of the Japanese environment,
I feel that playing in Japan is more fun.
Of course there are many fun things. I would like to talk about that next time.

I have only 1 month to the end of crowdfunding.
I am truly grateful to have achieved about half in a short period of time.
However, it is another half to achieve!

Thank you for your continued support🙏

Hello! This is the first activity report from Bangkok✏️

In the 5 days of crowdfunding, I was able to achieve 1/3 of the target amount!!🎊
Thank you to everyone who cooperated.

What I was unexpected was that there was a lot of participation of musicians and information dissemination.

It depends on the amount of money that the money received from you depends on the amount of money, and I will discuss with UNHCR to decide.
For your convenience, I also post a link of UNHCR's HP.

38 days until the end of crowdfunding ,,, I am still waiting for your cooperation!!🙏

Thank you.
